Amador County General Plan Update Working Paper -Biological Resources
This working paper serves as a foundation for updating the goals, policies, and programs in the Open Space and Conservation Elements of the Amador County General Plan (General Plan) as related to biological resources. Amador County has a wealth of biological resources that are an integral part of the rural character that county residents treasure. A thorough understanding of the locations and extent of these resources in the county, of their local and regional importance, and of potential threats to these biological resources is essential to the development of land use planning practices that protect those resources for future generations.
