Ventura County Integrated Watershed Protection Plan - Zone 1
Ventura County Watershed Protection District - Fiscal Year 2005 - The development of the Integrated Watershed Protection Plan (IWPP) by the Ventura County Watershed Protection District is the culmination of a series of long-range planning efforts since the District’s inception. The objectives of the IWPP are the following: 1) To provide a systematic process for the inclusion of projects into the District’s Capital Improvement Plan over its five-year planning period. 2) To improve the long-range District planning process for the 20-year period subsequent to the Capital Improvement Plan by allocating projected revenues to identified projects. The IWPP also provides a Level-of-Service evaluation that identifies the need for additional project funding to achieve desired flooding mitigation goals.
